Age of consent: DebConf26 registered sex offender in Argentina?

DebConf26 is taking place in Argentina this year.

In 2025, there was a major scandal when people noticed that Jeremy Bicha, who is a registered sex offender, had been invited to speak on the national holiday in France. Looking at the Wikipedia page about the Age of Consent in South America, we can see that Argentina has the lowest age of consent out of all the South American countries. 13 years is legal in Argentina.
